Abstract

The article highlights the methodical bases of using media content in music culture lessons of general secondary schools. The importance of modern information and communication technologies, in particular, audio, video, multimedia tools, and digital platforms in music education is analyzed. Also, the role of media content in developing students' musical perception, aesthetic taste, artistic thinking, and creative abilities is scientifically and pedagogically substantiated. During the research, effective methods and pedagogical opportunities of using media tools in music lessons are demonstrated.
