EFFECT OF ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES ON DENTAL PULP

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of regular use of electronic cigarettes on the dental pulp of a group of volunteers. The study involved 70 subjects, consisting of 30 women and 40 men aged 17 to 40 years who had been using electronic cigarettes for more than a year. A comprehensive study included a clinical examination, thermal testing, pulporadiography and radiographic analysis, which allowed for a detailed assessment of both the functional and structural state of the pulp tissue.
