THE TRANSPOSITION OF NATIONAL REALITIES IN TRANSLATION ON THE EXAMPLE OF ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS OF ABDULLA QODIRIY'S "DAYS PAST"

Abstract

This article studies the process of translating national realities in Abdulla Qodiriy's "Days Past". It analyzes the difficulties and strategies in transferring elements specific to Uzbek culture into English. Using examples from the work, the author emphasizes the importance of cultural context, the need to include explanatory notes, and the role of translators in preserving Uzbek traditions and customs. The results show that effective translation requires not only linguistic accuracy, but also the preservation of cultural nuances in the original work.
