Abstract

This article discusses the Cultural significance of colors in English and Uzbek. It examines how colors represent different meanings, symbolism, and connections within each culture, illustrating the values, customs, and historical backgrounds of both English-speaking and Uzbek societies. In English culture, colors such as red, white, and black, as well as gold or yellow carry varied associations, ranging from passion and purity to mourning and elegance. By comparing these cultural understandings, the article highlights the role of colors in communication, identity, and cultural representation. It demonstrates how the symbolism of color can affect perceptions and influence social behaviors across different cultural environments.
