This study explores a corpus-based methodology for analyzing academic writing produced by undergraduate students. By compiling and examining a representative corpus of student-written texts, the research identifies patterns in lexical choices, grammatical structures, and discourse organization. The study aims to reveal common linguistic features and challenges in student writing, providing insights into learners’ academic literacy development. The findings contribute to curriculum design, instructional practices, and assessment strategies in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses. Furthermore, the research highlights how corpus tools can enhance both teaching and evaluation of writing skills at the undergraduate level.
