Adults studying English as a second language confront special obstacles when it comes to recalling new terminology in this digital era. The growing use of cellphones and social media has resulted in an endless stream of distractions and competing inputs that might impede language learning progress. This article addresses the obstacles that adult English learners encounter with retaining vocabulary and offers practical techniques to overcome them.
