Abstract

Agricultural development plays a crucial role in Uzbekistan's economic growth, with a focus on enhancing investment efficiency to achieve sustainable progress. This study evaluates the effectiveness of agricultural investments in the Samarkand region using real statistical data from 2010 to 2024 and an econometric Vector Autoregression (VAR) model. The analysis reveals that strategic investments in agriculture significantly boost productivity, particularly when directed towards technology and infrastructure. The results highlight the importance of sustained investment for long-term benefits, offering valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders. This study contributes to the understanding of investment efficiency in agriculture and provides evidence-based recommendations to optimize investment strategies for sustainable agricultural development in Uzbekistan.
