The various features of nouns have attracted the attention of scholars from different fields since ancient times. In the Renaissance and the Middle Ages, as well as in the 19th century, there has been a discussion on the place of nouns in linguistic vocabulary. This article examines the linguistic study of the onomastic scales that constitute nouns.
