Abstract

Neurological diseases in children are a significant concern due to their impact on a child’s development, physical functioning, and quality of life. These conditions encompass a wide range of disorders affecting the nervous system, including congenital malformations, genetic disorders, acquired brain injuries, infections, and neurodegenerative diseases. Early diagnosis and intervention are crucial for improving outcomes and preventing long-term complications. This article reviews the most common neurological disorders in pediatric populations, discusses the diagnostic approaches, and highlights recent advances in treatment. It also explores the long-term effects of neurological diseases on children's development and their family dynamics
