Abstract

Stem cell therapy has emerged as one of the most promising areas in regenerative medicine, offering potential cures for various diseases and conditions that were previously thought to be incurable. Stem cells, with their unique ability to differentiate into various types of cells, hold promise for treating a wide range of disorders, including neurological diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and even cancers. However, despite its potential, stem cell therapy raises several ethical concerns related to the sources of stem cells, particularly embryonic stem cells, as well as issues surrounding consent, manipulation, and the long-term effects of these therapies. This article reviews the latest advances in stem cell research, the therapeutic applications of stem cells, and the ethical considerations surrounding their use.
