Technology offers powerful tools to address many of the existing challenges in biochemistry education, ranging from enhancing the visualization of complex molecular processes to providing personalized learning pathways and fostering engagement in cutting-edge research. An independent activist should actively explore and advocate for the thoughtful and effective integration of appropriate technologies into the biochemistry curriculum and overall teaching practices. Digital tools and AI have the potential to fundamentally reshape how biochemistry is taught and learned. By strategically leveraging these technologies, educators can create more engaging, interactive, and personalized learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of their students, ultimately leading to improved understanding and a greater appreciation for the field.
