Abstract

This article explores the process of teaching sports terminology in the Russian language from both linguistic and methodological perspectives. It analyzes the lexical and semantic features of sports terms, challenges related to their translation and interpretation, and the structure of such terms in Russian. The paper also proposes effective methods and innovative approaches for teaching sports vocabulary in Russian as a foreign language, especially within the framework of professional language training.
