THE ESSENCE OF TOURISM DISCOURSE
Abstract
Tourism is a significant sector of the global economy today, directly and indirectly impacting the lives of millions of people. Tourism not only contributes to economic growth but also plays a crucial role in cultural exchange, the preservation of historical heritage, and the strengthening of ties between regions. However, the discourses associated with the development of tourism, that is, the conversations, texts, images, and practices about tourism, are also of significant importance. This article examines the essence of tourism discourse, its main problems, their solutions, and a review of the literature in this field.
