Blending is a highly productive and creative word-formation process in contemporary English that reflects linguistic innovation and socio-cultural evolution. This article investigates the morphological and pragmatic aspects of blends, examining how they are formed, used, and interpreted across various communication contexts. Drawing on both qualitative and corpus-based methods, the study analyzes a selected corpus of English blends from modern media, advertising, and internet discourse. Findings reveal that blending not only condenses meaning but also contributes to stylistic economy, humor, and identity construction. This article argues that blends are not merely lexical shortcuts but represent a deeper linguistic strategy shaped by current communicative needs and technological culture. Through the comparative analysis of various blending types, the study contributes to our understanding of dynamic morphological change in English.
