ISSUES OF TOURISM COOPERATION AMONG CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES

Tourism cooperation among Central Asian countries holds significant potential for regional economic development, cultural exchange, and international integration. This article examines the current state of tourism collaboration between Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, highlighting key opportunities and challenges. It explores joint initiatives, cross-border tourism routes, visa facilitation, and infrastructure development as means to enhance regional tourism. The paper also discusses obstacles such as political differences, limited connectivity, and regulatory barriers. Recommendations are provided to strengthen cooperation frameworks and promote sustainable tourism growth in Central Asia.
