This article analyzes foreign experiences in developing the professional competence of medical students through the teaching of infectious diseases. It explores innovative methods such as simulation-based training, virtual laboratories, problem-based learning, and the ACL (Activity–Competence–Learning) model implemented in leading international medical schools.
