Abstract

The article “Learning English through Chess: A Modern Method that Combines Logic and Language” explores an innovative educational approach that integrates strategic thinking with language acquisition. The method is based on the idea that playing chess develops problem‑solving, memory, and logical reasoning skills, while at the same time serving as a practical context for practicing English vocabulary, communication, and critical discussion. By introducing chess terms, descriptions of moves, and interactive dialogues in English, learners improve both their cognitive abilities and linguistic competence. This combined approach is especially effective for students who are motivated by games and logical challenges, as it creates an engaging, meaningful, and interdisciplinary learning environment.
