Abstract

The rapid transformation of society driven by globalization, digitalization, and technological innovation has significantly reshaped the demands placed on education systems. In this context, the development of 21st-century skills has become a central objective of modern education. This paper examines the role of contemporary educational approaches in fostering essential competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy among students. Through an analytical review of current pedagogical frameworks, the study highlights how learner-centered, technology-enhanced, and competency-based approaches contribute to holistic skill development. The findings indicate that modern educational methodologies play a pivotal role in preparing students to meet the challenges of an increasingly complex and dynamic world.
