Abstract

The article analyzes the issues related to the participation of specialists in criminal proceedings, the procedural costs incurred in their involvement and the procedure for their compensation. Based on a comparative analysis of national and foreign legislation, the issues of financial support for the services of specialists, the use of state budget funds and the subsequent recovery of these costs from the convict were studied. Proposals were developed to improve the legislation to solve existing problems.
