LEGAL ISSUES OF INFORMATION SECURITY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This article analyzes legal issues of ensuring information security and protecting personal data. The study highlights the legal problems arising in the processes of legal protection of personal data, their collection, storage, and processing in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies. A comparative analysis of the mechanisms for ensuring information security based on the norms of national legislation and international legal documents is also carried out. The article pays special attention to the risks associated with violating the privacy of personal data, ways to prevent them, and issues of legal responsibility. The research results serve to draw scientific conclusions on strengthening information security and improving the system of legal protection of personal data.
