A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF EVERYDAY EXPRESSIONS IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH

This article presents a comparative linguistic and pragmatic analysis of everyday expressions used in Uzbek and English. The study focuses on frequently used expressions in daily communication such as greetings, farewells, expressions of gratitude, apologies, requests, and politeness strategies. By analyzing these expressions, the paper aims to identify similarities and differences between the two languages and to reveal the cultural and pragmatic factors that influence everyday speech. The findings highlight how national culture, social norms, and communicative conventions shape the use of everyday expressions in both languages.
