constructive compliance supports professional development; excessive normative compliance reduces autonomy.Abstract
The article examines the psychological characteristics of students’ compliant behavior in the context of identity formation and autonomy development. The theoretical framework is based on the psychosocial development concept of Erik Erikson and the self-determination theory of Edvard Desy and Richard Rayan.
