Abstract

 This article analyzes the stages of formation and development of the choral genre in Uzbek musical art, its role and significance in the national musical culture, highlights the specific features of choral performance and its artistic and aesthetic potential as a genre, examines the development trends of Uzbek choral art using the example of professional and amateur directions, and also substantiates the current aspects of teaching the choral genre in the modern education system and its role in the aesthetic education of the younger generation.
