Abstract

This article systematically analyzes the formation of the green economy, its theoretical foundations and modern development trends. The study substantiates the relevance of the green economy concept in the context of global environmental problems, in particular, climate change, limited natural resources and environmental degradation. It also highlights important areas of increasing energy efficiency, using renewable energy sources, reducing emissions and introducing "green" technologies in the process of greening the economy. The article analyzes the mechanisms of transition to a green economy, specific aspects of state policy and institutional approaches based on the experience of developed and developing countries. At the same time, the role of innovation, investment and environmental management in ensuring sustainable development is revealed. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of the green economy not only in maintaining ecological balance, but also in ensuring economic growth and social well-being.
