Abstract

This study examines the impact of the global political situation on the global economy in the context of increasing geopolitical tensions and economic interdependence. The research focuses on how political factors such as international conflicts, trade disputes, sanctions, and strategic rivalry influence key economic processes, including global trade, investment flows, financial markets, and energy systems. Particular attention is given to recent developments such as the Russia–Ukraine War and the growing geopolitical competition between the United States and China.
