THE CONCEPT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE AND THE ROLE OF AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH IN ITS FORMATION

This article analyzes the essence, structure of professional competence and the importance of the integrative approach in its development. The role of interdisciplinary integration, the unity of theory and practice, as well as modular and project-based technologies in improving the quality of personnel training based on the competency-based approach in modern education is highlighted. The authors argue that the integrative approach is an effective means of forming the cognitive, activity-based, communicative and reflexive components of professional competence.
