Abstract

Over the past ten years, the demand for foreign language learning has become increasingly high. Russian and English as foreign languages are particularly popular in Uzbekistan today. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved numerous projects to develop foreign language learning in Uzbekistan. In this regard, this article presents an analysis of the current issue of teaching Russian and English as foreign languages within the context of a comparative approach, which seeks to identify and understand the similarities and differences between the languages being compared.
