Abstract

The implementation of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) methodology in higher education has gained increasing importance due to the growing demand for profession-oriented language skills. However, despite its recognized benefits, many institutions face significant challenges in effectively integrating ESP into their curricula. This article explores the major obstacles encountered in implementing ESP methodology, including issues related to teacher competence, needs analysis, material development, institutional constraints, and learner diversity.
