IMPROVEMENT OF MATERIAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CRIME PREVENTION SERVICE OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS BODIES

This article is devoted to the issues of improving the material and technical support of the activities of the crime prevention service of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article analyzes the regulatory framework and identifies existing shortcomings in the material and technical support of activities - insufficient equipment of support points, low use of digital technologies, and inefficiency of maintenance mechanisms. Practical proposals have been put forward for the introduction of modern means of communication, investment in the material base, and the creation of a system for assessing the effectiveness of activities. The model of community policing in foreign countries and the experience of material and technical support of the prevention service were studied, and ways to adapt it to the conditions of Uzbekistan were shown. The results of the study can serve to increase the effectiveness of crime prevention and ensure public safety.
